"Dream High" follows the journey of six students at Kirin Art High School as they pursue their aspirations of becoming music stars in the Korean music industry. Go Hye Mi, initially a classical music student, is forced to abandon her dream and enroll at Kirin Art High School to pay off her father's debt. To gain conditional admission, she must recruit two other students: Song Sam Dong, a countryside resident, and Jin Guk, whom she encounters while fleeing from a loan shark. Complicating matters, Yoon Baek Hee, Hye Mi's former sidekick, becomes her rival after Hye Mi betrays her during an audition.
